The history of Es Fangar can be traced back to the 14th century. In the course of the re-cultivation of the old vineyards on Es Fangar, work was carried out with great regard to the historical specifications for the original location of the vineyards and taking into account the climatic and natural conditions. Es Fangar now has 36 hectares of vineyards. The oenologists pay particular attention to the autochthonous grape varieties. The aim is to produce excellent wines of the highest international quality and enjoyment through research and care.
The industrialist Peter Eisenmann bought this impassable refuge with his family at the turn of the millennium. However, he had a clear vision of what was to be created here. An agricultural oasis that steers in harmony with nature as a generational project towards an economically successful future.
Pests are treated with beneficial insects. For example, bee colonies were cultivated on the edge of the vineyards, which pursue their natural task. Green clippings and horse manure are processed into high-quality compost, which in turn is used as an excellent fertilizer and soil structure. Everywhere in Es Fangar you can feel that they work with a philosophy that is unique. The unbelievable thing about this story: the vines of the Cuveés are only between 6 and 10 years old!
