A ruler wants to be treated with respect: gentle and elaborate handling during the harvest and treatment in the cellar are therefore the basis for the full fruit and the soft, almost buttery frame. Eight months of storage in French oak barriques give this elegant top wine the finishing touch and let the feminine dominant come to the fore. La Souveraine is the worthy companion of the red top cuvée L'Empereur. This gives the wine the necessary opulence and a round body that characterizes a baroque ruler and beauty. Rich, ripe fruit, a bit of honey, wonderful melt and elegantly integrated wood make this wine a true top-class Chardonnay.
