Elegance and suppleness...

As a Nebbiolo Langhe DOC, this Massolino is one of the best-known wines of the Italian grape variety from Piedmont. A note of juicy cherries in the nose is characteristic of a Nebbiolo. A fine scent of violets extends the aroma to the floral level.

A hint of sweet spices mixes with the aromas of cherries and violets and leaves the usual multi-layered impression of the grape variety. The Massolino Nebbiolo Langhe DOC owes this character to the cultivation on calcareous soil of the vineyards in Serralunga d'Alba. It is one of the most important individual vineyards that have been owned by the winery since the 1970s. The calcareous, slightly sandy soil gives wines like the Massolino Nebbiolo Langhe DOC a mineral elegance.

This delicate appearance with a medium intensity arises on the palate. Finely structured and with well-balanced tannins, the dry red wine ends with a good finish on the palate. In the glass, the bright garnet red tempts you to take the next sip. Enjoy this wine at the ideal drinking temperature of 16 °C with hearty dishes. Dishes with venison and lamb, but also a spicy pasta ensure extraordinarily aromatic taste experiences with a glass of Massolino Nebbiolo Langhe DOC.
