What is crucial about this powerful and dark 'Ventum' is the deep minerality with a cool draw. It was already hinted at in the scent, but it only reveals its full dimension on the palate.

Eye: Dense purple with violet reflections.
Nose: Syrah initially dominates the scent with an intense play of aromas of juicy dark forest fruit, cassis and fleshy notes. With air, Merlot and Callet come to the fore and offer notes of plums and blackberries, but also of leather, undergrowth, shrubbery and black tea. In the background, the 'Ventum' appears cool and mineral with a light hint of pepper and bergamot.
Taste: On the palate, the ripe dark fruit is initially evident, as if circling around a sweet core. Second by second, more and more herbal and spicy notes are added. They are reminiscent of macchia herbs, juniper and liquorice. The wood aging also plays a role, but the slight smokiness remains elegantly in the background. What is crucial about this powerful and dark 'Ventum' is the deep minerality with a cool draw. It was already hinted at in the scent, but it only reveals its full dimension on the palate. It permeates the fruit and makes it all the more juicy, it also balances the fine tannins and counters the maturity of this wine.

Vinification: 12 months barrique aging in French oak barrels. For the pressing, the complex "Mètode Graveta" is used, which starts at the highest point of the bodega and presses the must of the wines from the grapes exclusively with the help of gravity. The grapes and the mash only follow the natural force of gravity. Mechanical pumps are not used in order to elicit the finest nuances of flavor from the grapes with the least amount of mechanical stress.
