Barbera from Antinori's Piedmontese winery Prunotto! The red wine is one of the most exciting red wines from this prestigious region!
Barbera is one of the most important and prestigious red grape varieties in Piedmont. The Prunotto house selects grapes from the municipalities of Barbaresco, Treiso, Alba and Barolo for its varietal red wine. The soils here consist of sandy and clayey terroir.

Expansion: | The healthy harvest, with an excellent balance between sugar and acidity, was destemmed, mashed and fermented on the grape skins (at 28°C - 30°C) for around 10 days. After malolactic fermentation, the young wine is aged in French oak barrels for 8 months. After a further 4 months of bottle storage, the wine is sold. |
